TimeLeak - indie multiplayer first person shooter

Yes, it has something to do with robots, but it is not Marvin the Martian! With "TimeLeak" I have started a new game that can be classified as a first person multiplayer shooter with robots. I will work on the game in my spare time, so I please be patient before I can provide a first playable version. So what's the most important part about TimeLeak? Well, it's going to be all about gameplay! In other words, gameplay in TimeLeak has top priority. Don't get frightened if you see cubes and cylinders in the first versions. That is because I will release work-in-progress versions of TimeLeak. Also, I would like to start with multiplayer featuring an assault mode: one side is defending while the other will try to defend their bases. As soon as a first playable version is available you will be able to play it through your browser by installing a Unity3D plugin. This way, updating the game is more convenient as there won't be any version conflicts and you won't be forced to pollute your computer. Everyone will be up-to-date. So, for the moment - just relax and keep your fingers crossed for the first playable version. Once it's done you can help me with the most important job in game development: playing.

Found my favourite robot. Damn it! It is almost perfect. Few and solid colors. Made by Josh Kao. Source: http://cghub.com/images/view/53958/

I like the atmosphere. Just a few simple textures, no real chroma. All things I don't want had been satisfied in this picture as robots have their own view. This could be an exciting setting. Made by Josh Kao. Source: http://cghub.com/images/view/42513/

The third one of Nicolas collection. Just to complete the series. Also here you won't find any weapons or cannons. Made by Nicolas Ferrand. Source: http://cghub.com/images/view/42466/

Also a very good designed robot. I can imagine to put one gameplay feature to be able to transform a robot into objects others can not differentiate from static level objects. Made by Nicolas Ferrand. Source: http://cghub.com/images/view/42465/

I love this kind of non-humanoid four-legged robots. Also the atmosphere of this picture I really enjoy. Somewhere in the future the mankind has been annihilated by extraterrestrials ... Just kidding. This kind of story is becoming stale. No! I think I have a really interesting idea concerning the story but I can not share until I have at least published some playable versions you will be able to play first. I think story is not the most important part of a multiplayer shooter. Made by Nicolas Ferrand. Source: http://cghub.com/images/view/42464/
